Interview with Author Ruth Kriner

What inspired you to write the book Meet Me in the Garden?

I felt God’s prompting to write a book. I was a child with a vivid imagination and had the desire to write stories when young but never took it seriously until life got more complicated. Now my desire to write has taken a different direction.

For what purpose was it written?

So many Christians have the same struggles I’ve experienced, and I wanted to address those problems with answers I have discovered through my personal encounters with God.

What are some of the benefits for the reader?

I genuinely believe the reader will find a greater understanding of God and the value He places on each and every one seeking an intimate relationship with Himself. They will learn who God is and the freedom and joy He offers.

Is this book for everyone?

It is for everyone who wishes for a more authentic and vibrant walk with Jesus. This book is every bit about Him and how He overcomes the stumbling blocks, lies, and doubt that stand in our way to victory.

Does it answer some of the difficult questions?

Yes, questions we all have asked. Why does bad happen to good people? Discover how God transforms darkness into light, how He fights for us, finding peace in every circumstance, and freedom through forgiveness. Every page holds a secret for overcoming fear, guilt, and unworthiness in exchange for hope, love, and joy.

God wants us to be victors, not victims.
