What is your new book about?

It is the second in a series about how we can learn to avoid misinformation traps.

Where did you get the idea for it?

The first book came out of a course I was asked to design and develop for MBA students. The goal was to provide business students with a solid understanding of Human Behavior they don’t otherwise get. I wrote dozens of modules used as springboards in interactive class discussions. Later, I complied fifty of these lessons into a book.

What were your qualifications for teaching that course?

My background is in Sociology, Psychology, and Anthropology and for 35 years I used that training to conduct consumer and business research in the areas of strategy, brand, product development, marketing, advertising, and customer satisfaction.

Who is this book for?

I wrote this book for executive decision-makers-to-be who want to be the most information-savvy person in their organization. For them, this is really a How-To book from the Business Self-Help section.

What is it you want to accomplish when you write?

I want people to improve their ability to assess the quality of the information they see by learning how to ask simple, direct questions and developing their abilities to evaluate the answers they get.
