Interview with Author Stephen Shaw

Stephen Shaw, Author Of 12 Mystical Books

Who are you? Tell us your backstory.

From a young age, I was having profound clairvoyant experiences, as well as a drive to seek out the answers to life deepest questions. I studied Psychology at university, and also completed numerous post-graduate diplomas in a variety of healing modalities, including hypnosis and neurolinguistic programming. At 39 years old, I gave up my psychotherapy practice and home, and travelled the world for 10 years. My goal was to seek out the most powerful healers and teachers across the planet. I soon discovered that the highest-level teachers are the hardest to access and not known to the public. The most skilled healers are very protective over their sacred knowledge. Over time, I unveiled common threads behind the healing work of advanced Tibetan lamas, Peruvian shamans, Tantra masters and other esoteric teachers. I then combined all the profound teachings from around the world with my own deep understanding of psychology and human nature, and wrote 12 life-changing spiritual books.

Which of your books is your favorite?

Divine Love is a book that awakens radical and profound transformation. It is a book about authenticity and intimacy; a guide on how to truly live. It’s about creating a slice of heaven on Earth. Bringing raw, real, deep Divine Love to your Here Now. Living and loving with your entire heart. This book is the culmination of my incredible spiritual adventures and contains profound life wisdom and spiritual guidance. Most people benefit from reading Divine Love with my books I Am and They Walk Among Us.

What advice do you have for aspiring writers?

Learn as much as possible about your subject. Follow your passion and dreams. Write from the heart. Try to surrender into a flow state so the words, characters and story cascade gently and easily onto the page. Only edit after you have completed the first draft, otherwise you interrupt the flow state. A book I found helpful when I was starting to write was “On Writing” by Stephen King.

Any publishing and marketing advice?

Amazon dominates the book-selling space now, so I ‘back the fastest horse in the race’. All my books are available on Amazon. I highly recommend this excellent book: “Make A Killing On Kindle” by Michael Alvear. As for marketing, get yourself on podcasts and blog guest posts. Be confident. If you wrote a top-quality book that will touch readers’ hearts and minds, then share your beautiful work.

What are your plans for the future?

I have written 12 books which contain all the life-change teachings I wanted to share. Ten of the books are novels with teachings weaved into the stories, and two are inspiring life guides. I also recently released “Life Success Secrets” which contains secrets, shortcuts, levers and hot buttons to create awesome change in your body, mind and spirit. Now I spend most of my time as a life coach for clients who wish to create radical life changes.
